Have you tried asking your GP for a referral? they can usually recommend someone suitable.

Hi Maman1,

You could give the Acorn centre on Wellington Quay, Drogheda a ring 0419844277.

I went there to see counsellor about PND, she was very good. Also know of somebody who brought their teenager there after he struggled to cope with the death of a grandparent. They found them really helpful.

Worth the phone call to see if they can help you out.

The Child and Family Centre, Dublin Road, Drogheda have counsellors for children but not sure what the criteria is……..know can be from a GP referal. Maybe give them a call and see if they can help. Also if you rang ISPCC Drogheda they may be able to offer advice too…..041-9833406…..hope this may help.
