With so many mums having to give birth by c-section for various reasons, I was thinking it could be good to start a thread sharing tips for things to do and things to avoid post c-section, to help with the recovery.
Anyone who has had a c-section and has some tips, please feel free to share anything that might be helpful.
First and foremost is rest as much as you can, and I know that can be difficult with a new baby!
I ended up with an infection and needed antibiotics to help clear it up. Gently exercise when you feel up to it and are able.. this is something I didn’t do and wish now that I did!
