My sister in law and family arrived from Wicklow yesterday….
They have been researching Digital Piano’s…..
We had been encouraging them to buy in Sound Shop – Supporting localThey viewed and tryed out Piano yesterday – came over to have coffee and decide on their purchased
While here – they googled the price etc…. Which varied a lot.
They went online – Sound Shop – and it was cheaper by €90 , so they rang – Sound Shop…
After a long discussion, calls back and forth, they brought from Sound Shop.. on line
A lesson learned shop on line….
thats no good customer relations……I would be very annoyed to buy something cheaper online than in store and not knowing. Maybe they have it priced dearer in store to allow for doing a deal on the price. But still not impressed.
Think you deserve a better deal again for all the hassle of trying to buy in store and then finding it cheaper online. Its great when people try to keep business local and keep local people in employment….not so good when you get this type of treatment. What did the sound shop say, out of curiosity, and how did they justify it cheaper online.????
