Hi went to the National Botanical gardens yesterday and have to say it was lovely and I really enjoyed it..can’t believe I had never been before!!!

Its free in and is fantastic for kids loads to see and do including ponds and ducks..we even saw squirrels around the place fantastic!

There is a coffee and gift shop area too.

Very east to find and handy for us coming from Drogheda as its on the right side of the city!!!

Here are a few pics from the day of the lovely flowers etc..

Love the Botanic Gardens…one of my favourite places, my Granddad used take my sister and me there as kids, love it. Such happy memories of that place – must get up there with the kids when the weather gets a bit warmer. Its nice to bring a picnic and spend the afternoon.

my favorite cafe in Dublin, great veg garden too, mind the squirrels though, they can be a bit insistant if you happen to open your bag for a snack.
