A woman has drowned after falling into the sea of the coast of Co. Galway.

The woman who was in her 40’s was scattering her dead sister’s ashes off the Connemara coastline when she was swept into the water yesterday afternoon.

The tragedy has prompted the Irish Coast Guard to issue a warning to anyone out walking this weekend, to avoid exposed costal areas.

OMG thats terrible….. the poor family!!!
We have friends in Clare and they took us to the Cliffs of Moher, he was having a fit at the yanks and shouting in his best bogger accent "Will ye get back from the edge the wing whips up the cliff and will pull ye over!!!"
With those winds and the whole emotion of what she was doing maybe the poor woman wasnt thinking straight…. very very sad!
