Babywearing Fair – All about Slings and Carriers
Following on from two successful conferences in previous years, Babywearing Ireland are organising their first babywearing fair, “Wearing a Hug".
Babywearing Ireland is a nationwide not for profit organisation with an aim to promote safe babywearing and equip parents to make informed choices about carriers or slings.
The week commencing 8 October marks International Babywearing week with events being organised all over the world – the “Wearing a Hug“ fair will be one of those.
The fair will be held on 7 October in Oriel House Hotel, Ballincollig.
Entrance is only € 3 per family.
Some of the events at the fair include:
* trade and information stalls
* talks by parents and health professionals
* a babywearing fashion show
* babywearing demonstrations
* a raffle
* activities for children
At the fair, Babywearing Ireland are hoping to unveil a special edition woven wrap with an exclusive "Wearing a Hug“ design and there are other suprises in store.
