Hi everyone, i’m typing this while little buster sleeps so i’ve only got a few minutes as he only tends to take 40 winks at a time!
My question is this: My chap is a very long baby and is really thriving thank God but the moses basket that we have for him to sleep in is too small now. We thought it’d do us 3 months or so until he goes into his cot (it’s a massive cotbed and maybe too big for him right now)….Does anybody have any ideas what i could put him into until he’s ready to sleep in the cot? Are travel cots any good and if so, could somebody recommend one? I’m not looking for a huge one ‘cos it’d be nice still having him snug as he’s still a newborn.
thanks again, hope everyone’s keeping well!

The one I have has a special thing were you can place your baby at mi-hight (as long baby’s not moving).
It was handy and safe.Or if you want to use from now your cot bed you can make it shorter by rolling a blanket in the middle of it.
So it’s not too long and the baby will still have the cosy feeling needed.
Hope it helps.Fabienne

My sister moved her little fella into his cot when he was a few weeks too BUT she kept the cot in her room – so tis up to yourself
on travel cots – the graco ones are very goodNovember 20, 2009 at 12:53 pm #82128Jenny!!!MemberOur baby sleeps in a swinging cradle in our room, they can stay in it for the six months and then be moved to big cot in their own room after or before that, they are great and so comfy, there is a lovely one i saw in smyths, 79.99, its a great price. think the mattress is 20 euro.
