MemberWould you recommed them? I have sky but fed up paying 70 euro a month. Want to save a few euro and the tv is a good way to pull 40 odd euro a month back (that would pay for my moble bill)

Memberi had chorus up until last sept, got rid as the selection of channels for 30 a month was terrible, sky is 26 a month for me ( 4 picks with no movies or sports) and i find it so much better, defo more selection.
since spt, i have been still getting bills which now amount to around 150 , the box has been plugged out and is now in a bag under my stairs, have tried ringing to tell them to collect it, no joy getting through!!!!!!
had someone ring me from there credit section, telling me i owed them money ah ha ha ha ha ha i cancelled in sept now f off!!!!! collect the box or it will be out in the bin
stay away from them taylor and just cut your sky package. movies that are on are on dvd, and as for sports, send him down the pub to watch them 🙂

MemberWe too have the sky basic package and can’t fault it but recently we got the sky plus box
You pay (i think it was €150) for the new box but the monthly payment stays the same so you get the chance to record or save (the new box has a built in hard drive) 2 programs at the same time if need be plus you can set it up to record a series of one particular program or programs in advance……… and all with just one button i might add. Not overly high tech at all. I find it great. OK the 150 up front is a bit steep but thats it and i find i record films that are on very early or late in the morning and you then have your own little video library.
Had NTL before we moved here and it was always hassle.Sky all the way I’m afraid for us 😀January 18, 2008 at 11:42 am #52745Yvonne
MemberWe pay 29.50 a month for Sky and are thinking of getting sky plus – my brother has it and its great that we can watch a selection of films when there is nothing better on.
