hey big sister
my dd made confirmation lately with a lot of good mates.
i had a few cards in my bag in case he got one from a friend. To be honest i was not going to give card first, as i didnt want to put any parent underpressure, and i think every one was thinking my way, not one card exchanged hands from there gang,
so thats what i think you should do.
hope that helps
hi guys,my lad made his communion last year and this was the first time i heard of cards being given out at the church.i got a few cards and put 5euros in each.my son signed then but with no name and when he got a card he just gave one back.i think we just bought 4.at the end of the day its the thought that counts and the kids just like the idea of giving to their friends.
I’m not sure if the school told kids or parents not to exchange cards at the church but last year at my daughter’s communion there were no cards given out. It’s much better this way, the presents cards etc., can be given out at the "party" later. It’s expensive enough
