Care at a time of loss: AIMSI Pregnancy Loss Survey Report – April 2009

Further to the release of the AIMSI Survey on Pregnancy Loss in 2008, a final report is now available at

    http://aimsireland.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=8

Again, a sincere thank you to all who completed this survey. We understand how difficult it is to reflect on the loss of a pregnancy and appreciate the time taken to share your experience.

AIMSI will be sending this report to hospital management, HSE , government and media to highlight and raise awareness of womens experiences of maternity services in Ireland.

For further information or support please contact AIMSI at info@aimsireland.com or support@aimsireland.com

    Thank You

I would like to say a big thank you to AIMS, for researching this and putting together this report. It is important that pregnancy loss be recognised as traumatic and imperative that steps be taken to ensure women losing their babies, along with their partnjers have a good understanding of what is happening and that they are treated with respect and compassion.

Well done for all your work on this issue. It is really relevant, particualrly to those of us who have lost babies and needed to air our feelings on the matter.

    Thank you.
