***** AIMS IRELAND FILM AND DISCUSSION NIGHT *****
AIMS Ireland will be hosting a private screening of the highly acclaimed documentary, Le Premier Cri, directed by Gilles de Maistre.
This beautifully made film will take you on the amazing journey of ten pregnant women around the world as they live, work and give birth during the same 48 hour period in 2006. Women in Siberia, France, India, Africa and the U.S to name a few, offer a fascinating insight into their local culture and traditions surrounding birth. This film will challenge your views on pregnancy and birth and will raise questions on what influences your experience of giving birth in Ireland today.
Thursday, March 26th 2009 at 8pm – Clarion Hotel, Liffey Valley, Dublin 22
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with local healthcare professionals and birth advocates.
