MemberHi Laura,
I m just wondering if you have any advice for those taking part in the Pink Marathon on Sunday.
Is there anything we should or should not do in the build up to it?
I just want to make sure I last the full 3 hours and that I survive the experience too.
Plus is there anything we should or should not do after it?
Thanks

MemberJulymam,
Think I m dreading Monday and Tuesday more than actually doing the marathon. The thoughts of being stiff and sore doesnt appeal to me especially with ds2, hes always on the go and finds trouble where ever we are and in whatever he is doing so there will be little or no chance in talking it easy.

MemberGirls im getting up and have a huge bowl of porridge and some whole meal toast and tea with nutella, both nutella and porridge are slow release energy foods…. bringing plenty of water (would drink nearly a ltr at a 1 hour class so a BIG BOTTLE for sunday) and im bringing a isotonic drink too… Aldi do 4 for 2 odd euro and its nice
We will be fine girls….. how you doing on the sponser cards? I have one line left 😆 😆 😆

Memberoh goodie bags for us two 😆 😆 😆
i find its the second day when i feel the pain…. so not looking forward to Tuesday. Im going to have a soak in the bath with epson salts when i come home, that should help…. i cant see them working us as hard as they do at taebo or Zumba for 3 hours… im sure they will have a routine to make us last the 3 hours not kill us after 2 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆
im going to have a chinese on Sunday in my pj’s watching x factor 😉

MemberDoing ok on the sponsorship front, have nearly a €100 and still have to ask a few more people so should get the goodie bag too 😀 😀 😀
Carol did the routine last night that she is doing on Sunday, its tough but ok. Think Carol said there will be 36 doing the cardio workout so should be good fun.
Will definitely have porridge, back eating it a couple of months now and love it especially with some raisins in it.
