A walk for Op Trans on Jan 15th?

Heard them mention on tonight’s show that on January 15th there will be a walk for OT, where they try to get people around the country out for a walk.

Would anyone like to do it??? We could do it in a big group with a few buggies thrown in for good measure!

I thought from what I read on the site that they are going to organise particular centres for the walks. You could contact the National Sports Council and see if they would let Mumstownorganise an official one!

Blackrock is just before Dundalk on the Coast, wouldnt bother going all the way to Dundalk for a walk 🙄

I’m going to Skerries as my sisters and mam are doing it with me and its closer to us than Blackrock.

If there are few people wanting to do it in Drogheda why not just head out and do a 3-4km walk at 11am, the same time it is happening in lots of other places around the country? Even do it with some friends?

I’m surprised Drogheda is not included – this is why it needs to be properly given the title of ‘city’!!!

Not the best day for walking but do not want to let the weather put me off, as long as its not lashing rain I’m still going ahead.

Have not had a take away yet this year…might get one tonight if I get a good walk in today, ease the guilt! 😆 😆
