ok, lets take a look, just lost 3-1 to fulham, two players sent off, Torres limps off injured, 5 defeats in eleven league games, no money for new players, no money to replace the manager, no money for a new defender and struggling to qualify for the champions league knock-out phase, this has been the best season in years !!!!

Oh there is no need for me to keep the faith, i’m not a Liverpool fan, but i know plenty who are and i am revelling in the tears that are gathering in the bottom of their empty pint glasses, and with tricky games coming up against man city and everton (it’s possible birmingham city could be a banana skin!) it’s looking odds on that those glasses of tears could over-flow.

Don’t be worrying about us my friend. A poor show when you’d rather be posting about another team rather than your own!

When your team had 5 European Cups/Champions’ League titles, we’ll chat again!

LFC fans stay true regardless, through thick and thin, makes no odds.

And we don’t have to drive home 300 miles to Kent after we’ve been whipped 30 miles from our "home" ground either!

    Keep calm and carry on!

Have to say. it is great to see liverpool doing so bad.
The manager is the worst ever.

Two world class players and he has failed to build a team around them.

They are in major trouble and they will more than likely not qualify for the champions league if they dont start to cop on.

Lovin the fact u still talkin bout us boys!

Don’t c too many posts about Drogheda Utd, local GAA or even admissions of ur own Premiership teams. Or have the ones you picked as youths, having no particular affiliations with any team (kinda pickin them out of a hat really) fallen from grace and that’s y we don’t hear about them?!

    Notts Forest?

    Newcastle Utd

    Crystal Palace?

    Mighty, mighty Leeds anyone?

All in good spirits and in the post for the craic!

Haha the Lads are out, ye were very quiet last year when Liverpool only lost twice but that’s the nature of the beautiful game.

hjs I can count on one finger the number of European Cups won by messers rcole & moodad…but just remind me again how many European trophies have Arsenal sitting in their cabinet and don’t include the Fairs cup…what is it? oh yeah 1 trophy that’s no longer in existence.

And to my other friend, I had to wipe away my tears to type this one, how are your boys doing this season…still overachieving because you got one or two decent wins. Don’t see any mention of your team, at least ours has a thread dedicated…

    Go eviladmin!

I think your references can be summed up in one handy phrase re our fellow dadstowners – "You only sing when you’re winning!"

True reds are consistent through thick and thin – seems other teams can only count only count on glory-seekers!

    Come on you mighty Reds!

    Come on Lyon.

Just for the record, have you won the Premiership ?

    No.

rcole it’s unfortunate that you would ask that question, it’s very manutdesque, we’ve been top dogs in England’s top flight 18 times, regardless of the name it carry’s.

Without ckecking google name 5 current Lyon players…

Well, this is one woman who after 35 years on the planet thinks she knows her own mind enough to actually "know" AND "care" about sport.

    Well, alright.

Only football, I grant you. A proper sport in its own right, of course.

Some may say GAA wants to decide what it actually is; sometimes football moves cool, sometimes rugby moves cool, scoring system not as clear as it may be. But an entertaining sport nonetheless!
