I sent and email to St.Marys & got a reply.
"We do not take names until students are in 6th class. Our enrolment period is from September to December of that year. As Whitecross NS is a feeder school to ourselves there should be no problem getting your son into St Marys"
This is what i had thought, so gives me some comfort
