Baby Showers are great for gifting soon to be parents baby essentials and for spoiling Mammies-to-be! We’ve had family weddings and parties in Bracken Court Hotel Balbriggan so we threw our sister’s surprise baby shower there, as we knew they would look after us.
We decorated a room with balloons and all things pink, set up a gift table and arranged sandwiches, sausages & goujons for nibbles. Kate (plus bump) was very surprised when she saw the beautiful room full of friends and family; including our sister from Jersey, who flew home as an extra surprise! We played baby shower games where we predicted the name, weight & arrival date of baby. Blindfolded, we were spun around to try to pin the soother on the baby and we had fun guessing the bump size!

Then we settled Kate in a comfy chair to ‘shower’ her with gifts. We listed items the soon to be parents needed like Baby Changing bag, nappy bin, babygros, Bumbo Chair, Baby Monitor with LED screen, nappies etc in the Baby shower WhatsApp group, so guests could get practical items, as well as some super cute gifts too obvs!

We had a fab Baby Monitor, with screen, from Irish nursery store Pitter Patter. Gold ‘Nurture’ earrings & necklace set from Little Light Jewellery. A pregnancy massage voucher for Better Health Therapies. We also had personalised soother clips which double as trolley tokens from Cosmic Baby Ireland!
