Not only do they have a huge range of dresses, they also have jumpsuits and a curvy range as well, so whatever your shape and whatever colour you like, you are bound to find something gorgeous. The dress I’m wearing in the above video is only €69.95 and it is fully lined, comfortable and I think perfect for my daughter’s upcoming Confirmation!

They are open from 11am-4pm Monday to Saturday and you do not need an appointment. The staff are super friendly too and will help you find something to suit you. Last year my sister was getting married and My Mam was recommended to go to this particular shop near Newry. Off we went and yes, there were nice dresses but the shop was chaotic, there were threads pulled on lots of the dresses and the dress my Mam picked was £495 – Sterling! The zip was a bit stiff but the staff assured us it was just because it was new and not to worry about it. But on the wedding day, we could not get the zip up. Instead of fawning over my bride-to-be sister and getting her all sorted in her wedding dresses, my sister and I were pulling like mad to get the zip up on my Mams dress. I even broke a nail in the process! And then, that night, we could not get the zip down. We had to rip it to get the dresses off her. So, we can wholeheartedly recommend My Kind of Dress. The dresses are excellent quality, really well priced, there is a huge range and they are only up the road in Dublin. They are at Unit 1, Fashion City, Ballymount.
