As well as a fab pool for families to enjoy, Pillo Hotel is close to loads of places that the kids will love and its a short trip into Dublin City Centre. Ashbourne is a lovely village with cute shops and a fab chocolate cafe, Chez Emily. The hot chocolates here are an absolute must and no doubt, you’ll be tempted to pick up some of their fab chocs to take home. We love the slabs, dolphins and chocolate mice – they are oh so moreish! Their Chocolate boxes make for a fabulous gift and the hot choc packs are wonderful to take home to make your own delish hot chocs. After a day at Emerald Park, a swim in the pool and perhaps a stroll around Ashbourne, why not finish things off with a yummy cocktail – that’s my plan for when we visit in a few weeks time!
