Leisureplex is re-open, yay!

Get Ready to Strike Up Some Fun @ Leisureplex!

In line with current Government guidance, all Leisureplex centres (with the exception of Leisureplex Charlestown, which will remain closed until further notice) will re-open their doors during the week commencing Monday 29th June 2020.

We are so excited to be able to welcome back all our loyal customers for fun with family and friends.
Our priority upon reopening continues to be the health and safety of our customers and team members. As well as carefully following Government guidelines, we have put various extra safety measures in place, including:

  • Using only alternate bowling lanes to ensure social distancing
  • Sanitising stations at entrance and exit points, as well as throughout the centre
  • Enhanced cleaning of centres, including all activity areas, diner areas and toilets
  • Enhanced cleaning of all objects, surfaces and regular touchpoints including doors, counter-tops and equipment
  • Enhanced cleaning of bowling lane areas after each use, including bowling balls, shoes, keypads, seating areas and kiddies ball ramps
  • Installation of safety shields at food diners to protect both team members and customers

,

All of our team members have received revised training on personal hygiene, handwashing procedure and cleaning procedure. In addition, PPE will be available to team members to ensure their own safety and that of customers. All team members will be required to stay at home if they feel unwell prior to their shift and will be required to follow the isolation and health guidance given by the Government

Upon returning to your local Leisureplex centre, we ask that you please adhere to Government guidelines on social distancing and handwashing procedures, to ensure that each and every customer can enjoy their experience.

We will also have limited customer capacity in centres, as per Government guidelines, so there may be times when we must ask customers to wait before entering the centre or beginning their activity.

Although we will continue to accept cash, we would encourage customers to use contactless payment where possible.

Along with our bowling lanes, our Zoo Playland adventure zones will also reopen, with enhanced regular cleaning throughout and limited capacity in place. We kindly ask parents to supervise children and take responsibility for their handwashing and social distancing while they enjoy their fun.

Our pool/snooker areas and arcade zones will also reopen, again with enhanced regular cleaning throughout the day.

Unfortunately, our Quasar arenas will remain closed for the time-being, but these will also reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.

Food and drink can be ordered from the in-centre diners (where available). Our diner areas will be cleaned regularly and thoroughly to ensure maximum cleanliness and hygienic safety. We ask customers to please adhere to social distancing within diner areas, both while ordering and eating their food.

The Leisureplex team have been working hard to ensure that our centres are as safe as possible for you to enjoy your fun while with us. We cannot wait to welcome you all back to our centres next week.

However, if you do feel unwell, please do not visit our centres in line with Government guidelines, and if you begin to feel unwell during your visit, please ask to speak to a manager who will be trained in procedures for this.

Keep an eye on our social channels for further information and guidelines over the coming days, including opening dates and times for your local centre, as well as some really cool competitions we have coming up to celebrate our reopening!

Let’s kick off the summer with some good old-fashioned fun, just in a new-fashioned way!
