Fettuccine Alfredo

Serves 4 adults. Add shrimp or chicken pieces for a variation.

Ingredients

Fettuccine Alfredo

1 Tbsp. butter
2 Tsp. flour
3/4 Cup milk
1/4 cup half-and-half light cream
1 clove garlic (chopped)
1/2 Tsp. salt and pepper
Pinch of nutmeg
1 Cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh Fettuccine pasta

Instructions

Heat butter, whisk in flour until mixture is smooth. Whisk in milk, half-and-half light cream, garlic, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Reduce heat and simmer until sauce is slightly thickened. Stir in parmesan cheese. Cook pasta and add to sauce.
