20yr old kills 9 yr old brother and himself

This is such a tragic story. A 20 year old man stabbed his little 9 year old brother at their home in Sligo and then went into the shed and killed himself.

Why do people do such thing? That poor family will be torn apart from this.

So sad.

so very very sad – apparently there was a teenager daughter in the house with her ear phones in and never heard a thing – such a terrible situation for the whole family

My children heard this on the news and were so upset by it – sometimes I turn the radio off so they do not hear things like this but this time they heard it.

How do you explain something like this to children?
